Amazon asks publishers to identify AI-generated text, images, and translations. An ebook made with EBookBrew normally contains AI-generated content.

An AI tool created the actual text, image, or translation. KDP says it remains AI-generated even after substantial human editing. Disclose generated EBookBrew chapters and generated covers in this category.

AI-assisted

You created the content and used AI only to brainstorm, refine, edit, or check it. KDP currently says that this category does not need disclosure.

Before you publish

1. Review every page. Check facts, names, claims, links, formatting, and continuity.
2. Check rights. Remove material that you do not own or have permission to use.
3. Answer KDP accurately. Identify AI-generated text and cover or interior images when the KDP setup flow asks.
4. Keep your records. Keep your outline, edits, sources, and cover direction so you can explain your process.
